ACGN Network Expansion  Steering Committee

The African Corporate Governance Network (ACGN) wishes to set up a Steering Committee to lead the creation of Corporate Governance Institutions where non-existent on the African continent. It is expected also that all existing Corporate Governance Institutions not yet members of the ACGN will be robed into membership of the Network. 

TERMS OF REFERENCE 

The steering committee is expected to facilitate processes to; 

1. Create IoDs A in Countries that do not have Corporate Governance Institutions in Africa
2. Develop Strategy for each Country ii. Profile key stakeholders in each Country 
3. Identify key contact points in countries in which ACGN is non existent 
4.  Develop a Road Map for each Country v. Ensure the establishment of the Institute in the Non-existent Countries. 
5.  Recommend Institutional Mentors/Consultants for supporting the newly created Institutions. 
6. Submit Quarterly Report and Annual Reports to the Executive Committee of the ACGN.
7.  Enroll Existing IoDs on the continent not part of ACGN into membership 
8. Seek funding to support committee activities
